Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Well I know loads of people who sit in the East Stand and none of them call it a kop. Because it ain't a fucking kop.

So you ask why people are calling the east stand a Kop and when it is explained to you why you say you don't give a shit.

Very strange

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Who gives a fuck what Brady calls it.

Rossal 11:22 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
It was marketed as a 'Kop' style stand as it is all one tier as opposed to the west stand which is two tiers

Nothing to do with standing or sitting

RichyP 11:21 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Mentor, cos that's what Brady was marketing it as...

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Why does the cunt keep calling the East Stand a kop?

Johnson 11:01 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Lower tier behind the goals and in the corners I would have thought was good enough, Bull.

Possibly lower tier of the "kop" given that's how it was sold to fans.

That's exactly how i see it

East Ham Bull, the club are not allowed to consider ANY blocks as standing.

East Ham Bull 10:43 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
OK simple enough question. Which blocks do we consider are "standing blocks"?

It's a stand off.

Johnson 9:11 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Unfortunately it was sold to fans as the big "kop" stand.

What do people do on "The Kop" at Liverpool, that's right they stand up.

mentor 9:08 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
The East Side should not be a recognized standing area.

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
White Horse - it won't happen en masse, same as it didn't at UP. There will be some bannings, but that will come from the few who are daft enough to try and take stewards on. The second you get violent with one you're fucked.

Just sit when asked and stand back up when they've gone (assuming you're somewhere that should be considered a standing area).

Johnson 8:10 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
They're going to ban thousands of people? Nope.

The White Horse 2:30 Thu Sep 8
Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
Standers risk losing their season tickets because they pornos and their lackey) are sure they can find someone who will -

1.Take the seats
2. Sit for the games

The end.

Are there?

Plenty you say?

You'll be able to drop a few names on here and show them up then won't you, help them see the error of their ways.

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
The smell of hypocrisy is overpowering

Plenty of the Standies are all over other threads, accusing people of being lefties for supporting Junior Doctors and the RMT fighting against enforced changes, but the same people are up in arms because of enforced changes to the way they used to watch football matches.

Its a perverse version of the Remain/Brexit thread, only this time the minority who want to impose their wishes on the majority are now heralded as the guardians of free choice.

Laughable

Re: "Persistent standing in the East Stand"
No i suspect they'll just keep standing at football, overbyyer.
